Located in Heaton Mersey in 11 acres grassland, BRC offers a unique and welcoming atmosphere that departs from the traditional christening halls. As well as the two indoor rooms and the outdoor seating which is covered allowing outdoor seating all year round, BRC’s marquee hire allows you to host the ceremony outdoors during the warmer months. And as if that wasn’t enough, there is plenty of open space and grass for the older children to run around it, and help stop them getting bored.
ROOM OPTIONS
The inside has two rooms which can be used together or separately depending on the size of your event. There is excellent in-house catering on offer, and you can choose from a range of food styles from finger buffet to sit-down dinner. However if there is something in particular you want that we can’t provide, then we are more than happy to work with outside caterers to help make your day run perfectly.
The inner rooms can be dressed in all sorts of different colours and styles to give you exactly the look and feel that you want for your event, and if you need advice in other areas, such as flowers, DJs, entertainment, then our experience staff are more than happy to work through your ideas with you.
THE PERFECT VENUE
Burnage Rugby Club’s location adds another advantage as a Christening venue. Situated not far from Manchester city centre on the border of Stockport and Didsbury, it offers a tranquil escape from the urban buzz, yet remains easily accessible for your guests. There is plenty of on-site parking with spaces for over 200 cars, to give a hassle-free arrival for families with young children as well as making it easy for any older guests. If needed there are several hotels in easy distance. There is disabled parking and toilets available for anyone with extra needs.
