Footgolf & Golf

at Burnage RFC

9 hole ‘pay n play’ golf course

This stunning woodland course is adjacent to the River Mersey and supported by the excellent facilities of the Burnage Rugby Club house serving hot food and with a fully licensed bar.

It is a challenging course for both Golfers and Footgolfers with longer fairways, elevated tees, tree lines, hedgerows, bunkers and even a large water hazard, which we believe makes us one of the best Footgolf courses anywhere in the UK.

You can play Footgolf Monday through to Sunday where the course is transformed into an authorised UK course, complete with official equipment hire and score cards.

Golfers can play the same course. Just remember yours is the smaller hole with the yellow flag!

FOOTGOLF FAQS

We always recommend booking in advance, as our course gets extremely busy and may be booked out for a group or competition. If you have a date in mind, contact us using the form.  A member of our bookings team will call you back.

You can bring your own football to play at our courses as long as it is a standard size 5 ball.  Equipment hire is available from the bar for players who don’t have their own or who wish to use the course balls

The average footgolfer can kick the ball around 50 yards. The difference between footgolf and golf is that a football will roll and bounce in myriad ways depending on the topography of the hole you’re playing.

Our course is 889 Yards (Par 32). 9 Holes on our course will take the average player an hour to complete.

Football boots and blades aren’t permitted on our Footgolf course – footgolfers are encouraged to wear trainers or astroturfs.

If you’re unsure about your footwear, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, prior to your booking.
