Logistics & Information

Hello, and welcome to Burnage RFC for the Lancashire U12s Waterfall festival on Sunday 14th April. We hope you and your teams all have a wonderful day, enjoying the last bits of U12s rugby as the season draws to a close.

This document has been put together to cover the logistics and information we think you’ll need for the day. If there is anything missing or you still have questions, please feel free to message on 07706418252 or email Nick Shaw.

Please can we ask that if you are arriving by coach, you must let us know in advance. Secondly, please can you confirm squad numbers asap but at the very latest the weekend before the festival. Food arrangements will be covered in detail later in this information document.

Car Parking
Car parking will be free for those attending the festival. Car park marshals shall help you to park efficiently.

Cost for entry
All players, coaches and match officials are admitted free of charge.
Other entrants / guests: Adults £4, Children / Concessions £1, Under 5’s free of charge.
Cash and card will both be accepted (cash preferred).

PITCH LOCATION & TYPE

Only team Coaches and members of the playing squad will be allowed on the playing area, please ensure all other spectators remain behind the barriers at the sides of the pitch.

Matches will be played on Pitches 2 and 3 (Pitch 1 will not be used). Pitch 3 is a 4G pitch, which requires players to wear normal studded boots (no blades and no trainers). A separate guide to the type of footwear allowed on the pitch will be distributed to clubs in advance of the festival.

Space will be allocated for gazebos around the edge of Pitch 2.

KEY DETAILS

Changing Rooms
Please organise for all players to arrive in playing kit, as we have limited changing room space.  Changing rooms will be available after games if players want to shower and change.

Food & Drink
Food will be provided to players free of charge.
Food and drink will be available to buy throughout the day.
Bar facilities will be open throughout the day.

Toilets
Toilets will be available in the clubhouse and changing room areas throughout the day.

Certificates / Trophies / Medals
All teams shall receive a pack with their Lancashire certificate of participations for all players when they arrive at the festival. These will be blank for each team to write on their players names on the day and present following the last matches.
Sadly, Lancashire are not permitted to provide a winning trophy or medals.
If you wish to recognise your team’s success in the festival, you are welcome to organise this yourself.

Although each team has been asked to provide a first aider for their teams, we also have first aiders available to assist with any minor injuries.
