Christenings at Burnage Rugby Club

Nine months after Christmas and New Year are September and October, and guess when the most babies are born? That’s right, September and October, so if you are having a baby around now, it’s time you started planning that Christening!

Christenings can happen at any time, but most people have them within the first year of the baby being born. Some religions like them as soon as possible, but others are more relaxed about the time frame. But one way or another you are going to want to plan what is probably your baby’s first party.

At Burnage Rugby club we hold christenings all the time, and have a range of different coloured table and chair covers so you can theme your colour scheme just as you like. Some people like blue or pink, but others prefer more neutral colours, like green or gold. It’s entirely up to you! 

We are set up to meet the needs of all the ages. There is fantastic free parking out the front, with disabled spaces to make life easier for the older end of the family. Of course there is disabled access and toilets as well. At the other end of the spectrum if you are having lots of bouncy young people, it is easy to hire a bouncy castle for them, which fits snugly in our wonderful outdoor area. There are covered seats for you to keep an eye on them too, so the weather is not an issue.

At Burnage Rugby Club, flexibility is not an issue. Having looked after the needs of the old and the young, there is still time for everyone in the middle to have fun. Plug in your own playlist to the system, or splash out on a DJ and dance the night away. The only thing left to think about is the food.

We offer a wide selection of in-house menus, from finger food to full sit down dinner if that’s what you want, and at a surprisingly competitive price. If there is something particular that you want that we don’t do, we are happy to work with outside suppliers.
